CSR Initiative

On September 4th, 2021, PT MOL Indonesia participated in a Covid-19 vaccine event organized by a foundation named SOLID-87, located at Pondok Cabe Golf. As a part of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), MOL Indonesia gave a donation to the foundation.

On August 27th, 2022, PT MOL Indonesia went to Bali and held a CSR event by having employees assemble bicycles as a group activity. The assembled bikes were given as charity to the Sidhi Astu Tuka Orphanage.

On March 19th, 2024, PT MOL Indonesia visited Panti Sosial Anak Asuhan Putra I (an orphanage) to hold a charity event.

As part of its ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability, PT MOL Indonesia collaborated with Bumi Journey on a tree-planting initiative at Taman Buru Gunung Masigit Kareumbi, beginning with a symbolic planting event involving 22 participants and 100 endemic tree seedlings.

Following the event, all 100 adopted trees were successfully planted and monitored in partnership with local conservation groups, contributing to forest restoration and biodiversity enhancement in the area. The program is expected to support ecosystem recovery, carbon sequestration, and long-term climate resilience while also generating positive economic impact through sustainable ecotourism initiatives. The initiative directly engaged local communities, supported environmental education, and restored approximately 25 square meters of degraded land.

Through this collaboration, PT MOL Indonesia continues to demonstrate its dedication to creating meaningful environmental and social value, reinforcing its broader commitment to responsible and sustainable business practices.

On 4th September 2026, MOL Indonesia supported Jakarta’s waste management efforts by donating food composting devices to six community waste banks across Jakarta and the surrounding areas. As organic waste makes up a significant portion of daily waste, this initiative aims to help communities transform food waste into a valuable resource. By equipping waste banks that already play an active role in local waste management, we hope to strengthen their capacity to process organic waste and contribute to a cleaner, more sustainable environment.
